Soil, Seed Mass To Be Held In Watseka

The Ford-Iroquois Deanery CCW will sponsor the annual Blessing of Soil and Seed Mass Sunday, March 4. The 2 p.m. Mass will be celebrated at St. Edmund’s Parish, Watseka. Celebrant will be Bishop Joseph Imesch. Concelebrants are Father Vern Arseneau, CCW Deanery moderator; Father Michael Powell and other parish moderators. Farm Bureau To Host Viewpoint Breakfast

Ford-Iroquois Farm Bureau will sponsor a Viewpoint Breakfast meeting Tuesday, March 6, beginning at 7 a.m., at Annabelle’s Diner in Gilman.

Meeting will begin with breakfast followed by discussion of topics members wish to talk about. Viewpoint is the name given to Farm Bureau’s grassroots effort to raise issues and concerns from members.
